Climate

Masai Mara has a mild and pleasant climate with warm days and cooler nights. It experiences two dry seasons (June–October and January–February) and two wet seasons (March–May and November–December), with occasional afternoon showers.

Best Time to Visit

July to October

– Best for the Great Wildebeest Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River.

December to February

– Excellent for big cat sightings and general wildlife viewing.

March to May & November

– Green season with fewer crowds, lush landscapes, and fantastic birdwatching.
